FIELD BRIEF 03 · IMPROVEMENT

Advance in three stages.

Do not rush straight to highlight plays. First make your opening stable, then improve movement, then turn pressure into core opportunities.

STAGE 0101

Resource discipline

Stabilize

Build a repeatable opening: mine blocks, protect the core, and reserve options for gear and movement.

Practice drills

  • Name the job of every block spend
  • Recheck the core before leaving
  • Avoid an all-defense or all-offense opening
STAGE 0202

Safer pressure

Connect

Create routes with a purpose. Move when your gear and core state support the fight, then preserve a way to disengage.

Practice drills

  • State the goal before building forward
  • Pause after each fight to rescan
  • Stop a chase that no longer helps the core objective
STAGE 0303

Core opportunities

Convert

Use opposing pressure and defensive gaps to create a core attempt without forgetting your own side of the objective.

Practice drills

  • Watch for attention moving away from a core
  • Keep enough flexibility to respond at home
  • Plan for the Storm without assuming timing, effects, or presentation

MOVE UP WHEN...

Your decisions stay clear under pressure.

STAGE 01 → 02

You can protect the core without spending every block and can explain your next resource choice.

STAGE 02 → 03

You can stop an unhelpful push, rescan the field, and build routes for a defined objective.

STAGE 03 → REVIEW

You create core pressure while checking your own core and adapting to what the current match presents.
